What does "research use only" mean?
It means our products are supplied strictly as chemical reference materials for in-vitro laboratory research and development. They are not medicines, food, cosmetics or supplements, and must never be administered to humans or animals.
What purity do you supply?
All peptides in our catalogue are specified to at least 99% purity as measured by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), verified per batch by independent laboratories.
Do you provide certificates of analysis?
Yes. Each batch is independently tested and a certificate of analysis is available. See our COA & Testing page for how our testing works and how to request batch documentation.
Who can order?
Sales are restricted to purchasers aged 18 or over, based in Great Britain, who are acquiring materials solely for lawful scientific research. You confirm this at checkout.
Where do you ship, and how long does it take?
We ship to Great Britain only, via a tracked Royal Mail service. Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Shipping is free on orders over £99.
How do I pay?
Checkout uses Pay-by-Bank via Wallid Open Banking. You authorise the payment directly with your own bank. Protiva does not collect or store card details.
How should I store the products?
Keep lyophilised peptides at −20 °C, protected from light and moisture, until use in the laboratory.
What is your returns policy?
Because these are research chemicals, we cannot accept returns once an order has been dispatched, except where an item arrives damaged or incorrect. See our Refunds & Returns policy for details.
